Shasta, my quirky 8 year old German Shepherd is generally a joy to photograph as she hangs on my every word. It probably doesn't hurt that I know all her favorite words.
Barely out of puppyhood, Toby is extremely sweet, very boisterous and also a bit fearful of my camera. I can sympathize. It scares me from time-to-time too. Once he relaxed a bit I was able to get quite a few lovely portraits of him.
